"How to Improve My English by Listening to Music"
Nowadays, Ipod, mp3., cell phone, all of these are the things that everyone are really not missing. Did you ever ask with yourself that “ what is you get from these more than entertainment?” We can apply the advantages of music to practice in English language. To practice listening skill, we should reaction of the following.
First
of all, listened to music without looking at the lyrics two or three rounds.
Then, try to catch the lyrics in English as much as possible. It may be
difficult but we should listen to music by relaxation. First round or second
round we should listened and at the same time
we should wrote the lyrics. Comprehension can show that what can we do?
Moreover, we write the sentences in order to analyze that why we cannot catch
those sentences?
Second
step, sang a song many rounds to remember the lyrics. If we cannot memorize, we
will look at the lyrics. After that, we translated all the lyrics. It does not
mean 100% accurate translation, but that we can understand and does not distort
meaning. If you find unfamiliar words, you will try to find the meaning of
words from the dictionary.
Last
step, we must consider the structures that are used in the lyrics. For example,
“ If I let you know, I am here for you.” the structure is If + Present Simple , Present Simple.
It can compare that listen to music and look at lyrics are inductive teaching.
In
conclusion, I hope the readers are happy to practice in English language. It is
easier learning in classroom, because of listening to music is simply steps to
learn consist of listen and write the
lyrics, remember and translate the lyrics, consider the structures.

Reading Strategies "
English language was used in worldwide
countries. If you are well in reading skill, you can go anywhere around the
world. But reading is not easy that you think, most of people can read but
cannot translate. Because many vocabulary are difficult, it make us cannot get.
For practicing reading skill of English language get well, I offer strategies
about reading skill various styles, searching the meaning, creating vocabulary
log, and practicing.
First of all, you should be read
various styles. If you want to read, you must to change your attitude about
media. You should open your mind to read all kinds of media. For example,
English newspaper, magazines, journal in English, and website or blog etc.
Secondly, you should be try to search the meaning of vocabulary. Because in one
word has various meaning, you should open dictionary by yourself. Thirdly, you
should be create or design vocabulary log. Vocabulary log can make you to know
new words. Collecting vocabulary make you to easier understanding. Lastly, you
should be practice to read everyday. After that, you should be increase the
difficult text level.
To sum up, all of these are steps to
practice reading skill. It can said that more easier but when you bring to
practice may be difficult. The important thing that make effective reading are
intention. If you have attempt, you can do anything successfully.

Improve Speaking
"
Nowadays, it is well known that English language
plays an important role in our daily life. Speaking skill provides the speaker
several advantages. It offers many benefits in today’s business world not only as a means
to communicate with people on the other side of the world but it serves to show
a person’s intelligence too.
That is why you should make every effort possible to find somebody to speak
with. There are several ways to practice speaking English skill following.
The first way to practice speaking
English is participation in classroom. If you go to a language school, you
should use the opportunity to speak to your teachers and other students. When
you go home, you can still practice listening, reading and writing, but you
probably can't practice speaking. If your teacher asks you a question, take the
opportunity to answer. Try to say as much as possible. If your teacher asks you
to speak in pairs or groups with other students, try to say as much as
possible. Don't worry about your mistakes. Just speak!
Songs and Video are the second way to
practice speaking English. Listen to the words of an English language song that
you like. Then repeat them to yourself and try to sing with the music. Repeat
the words as many times as possible until they become automatic. Soon you'll be
singing the whole song. Or listen to one of your favorite actors on video and
repeat one or two sentences that you like. Do it until it becomes automatic.
It's good practice for your memory and for the mouth muscles that you need for
English.
To sum up, all of these are activities
to speak English effectively. Do not be
afraid to speak. You must try to speak, even if you make mistakes. You cannot
learn without mistakes. There is a saying: "The person who never made a
mistake never made anything." So think of your mistakes as something
positive and useful.

การสอนภาษาแบบสื่อสาร (Communicative Language Teaching
- CLT)
เป็นแนวคิดซึ่งเชื่อมระหว่างความรู้ทางภาษา
(linguistic knowledge) ทักษะทางภาษา (language skill) และความสามารถในการสื่อสาร (communicative ability) เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนสามารถเรียนรู้โครงสร้างภาษาเพื่อสื่อสาร (Canale & Swain,
1980 ; Widdowson, 1978). คเนล และสเวน (1980) และเซวิกนอน (Savignon, 1982) ได้แยกองค์ประกอบของความสามารถในการสื่อสารไว้ 4 องค์ประกอบ ดังนี้
ประการแรก
ความสามารถทางด้านไวยากรณ์หรือโครงสร้าง (grammatical competence) หมายถึง ความรู้ทางด้านภาษา ได้แก ความรู้เกี่ยวกับคำศัพท์ โครงสร้างของคำ ประโยค
ตลอดการสะกดและการออกเสียง
ประการต่อมาคือ
ความสามารถด้านสังคม (sociolinguistic competence) หมายถึงการใช้คำ
และโครงสร้างประโยคได้เหมาะสมตามบริบทของสังคม เช่น
การขอโทษ การขอบคุณ การถามทิศทางและข้อมูลต่างๆ เป็นต้น
ประการที่สาม
ความสามารถในการใช้โครงสร้างภาษาเพื่อสื่อความหมายด้านการพูดและเขียน(discourse competence)
หมายถึง
ความสามารถในการเชื่อมระหว่างโครงสร้างภาษากับความหมายในการพูดและเขียนตามรูปแบบและสถานการณ์ที่แตกต่างกัน ประการสุดท้ายคือ ความสามารถในการใช้กลวิธีในการสื่อความหมาย (strategic
competence) หมายถึง
การใช้เทคนิคเพื่อให้การติดต่อสื่อสารประสบความสำเร็จโดยเฉพาะการสื่อสารด้านการพูด โดยอาจจะใช้ภาษาท่าทาง(body language)เข้ามาช่วยขยายความ

"Task Based Language Learning"
Task-based
language learning (TBLL) has origins in communicative language teaching. The core of the lesson is, as the
name suggests, the task. Teachers and curriculum developers should bear in mind
that any attention to form, i.e. grammar or vocabulary, Although there may be
several effective frameworks for creating a task-based learning lesson, here is
a basic outline:
Pre-task,
in the pre-task, the teacher will present what will be expected of the students
in the task phase. Teacher may prime the students with key vocabulary or
grammatical constructs. Task-based learning lessons, learners are responsible
for selecting the appropriate language for any given context themselves. The
instructors may also present a model of the task by either doing it themselves
or by presenting picture, audio, or video demonstrating the task. Task Circle, During the task phase, the
students perform the task, typically in small groups, although this is
dependent on the type of activity. teacher may be plays a particular role in
the task, then the teacher's role is typically limited to one of an observer or
counsellor thus the reason for it being a more student-center methodology.
Language Focus, if learners have created real linguistic products, e.g. text,
montage, presentation, audio or video recording, learners can review each other's work and offer constructive feedback.
To sum up, task-based
language learning (TBLL), also
known as task-based language
teaching (TBLT) or task-based instruction (TBI) focus on the use of authentic
language and on asking students to do meaningful tasks using the target
language. Such tasks can include visiting a doctor, conducting an interview, or
calling customer service for help. Assessment is primarily based on task
outcome (in other words the appropriate completion of real world tasks).

แผนการสอน คือ
การนำวิชาหรือกลุ่มประสบการณ์ที่ต้องทำการสอนตลอดภาคเรียนมาสร้างเป็นแผนการ
จัดกิจกรรมการเรียนการสอน การใช้สื่อ อุปกรณ์การสอน การวัดและการประเมินผล
สำหรับเนื้อหาสาระและจุดประสงค์การเรียนการสอนย่อยๆ ให้สอดคล้องกับวัตถุประสงค์
หรือจุดเน้นของหลักสูตร สภาพผู้เรียน ความพร้อมของโรงเรียนในด้านวัสดุอุปกรณ์
และตรงกับชีวิตจริงในท้องถิ่น ซึ่งถ้ากล่าวอีกนัยหนึ่ง แผนการสอนคือ
การเตรียมการสอนเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษรไว้ล่วงหน้า หรือ
คือการบันทึกการสอนตามปกตินั่นเอง
ลักษณะที่ดีของแผนต้องมีขั้นตอน
ดังนี้
ขั้นแรกคือเนื้อหาต้องเขียนเป็นรายคาบ
หรือรายชั่วโมงตารางสอน โดยเขียนให้สอดคล้องกับชื่อเรื่องให้อยู่ในโครงการสอน
และเขียนเฉพาะเนื้อหาสาระสำคัญพอสังเขป (ไม่ควรบันทึกแผนการสอนอย่างละเอียดมาก ๆ
เพราะจะทำให้เกิดความเบื่อหน่าย) การเขียนความคิดรวบยอด
(Concept) หรือหลักการสำคัญเป็นขั้นตอนที่สอง
ต้องเขียนให้ตรงกับเนื้อหาที่จะสอนส่วนนี้ถือว่าเป็นหัวใจของเรื่องครูต้องทำความเข้าใจในเนื้อหาที่จะสอนจนสามารถเขียนความคิดรวบยอดได้อย่างมีคุณภาพ ขั้นต่อมาคือจุดประสงค์เชิงพฤติกรรม ต้องเขียนให้สอดคล้อง
กลมกลืนกับความคิดรวบยอด
มิใช่เขียนตามอำเภอใจไม่ใช่เขียนสอดคล้องเฉพาะเนื้อหาที่จะสอนเท่านั้นเพราะจะได้เฉพาะพฤติกรรมที่เกี่ยวกับความรู้ความจำ
สมองหรือการพัฒนาของนักเรียนจะไม่ได้รับการพัฒนาเท่าที่ควร กิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนเป็นขั้นสำคัญในการจัดกิจกรรม
โดยจะต้องยึดเทคนิคการสอนต่างๆ ที่จะช่วยให้นักเรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้ ขั้นที่ห้าคือสื่อที่ใช้ควรเลือกให้สอดคล้องกับเนื้อหา
สื่อดังกล่าวต้องช่วยให้นักเรียนเกิดความเข้าใจในหลักการได้ง่าย การวัดผลเป็นขั้นตอนสุดท้าย โดยจะต้องคำนึงถึงเนื้อหา ความคิดรวบยอด
จุดประสงค์เชิงพฤติกรรมและช่วงที่ทำการวัด (ก่อนเรียน ระหว่างเรียน หลังเรียน)
เพื่อตรวจสอบว่าการสอนของครูบรรลุจุดมุ่งหมายที่ตั้งไว้หรือไม่

The number of women with unwanted
pregnancies have increased for many years. Abortion has been a choice for those
women to end their pregnancies. Is it a good way for the women with unintended
pregnancies have medical abortion? To keep
mothers’ lives, solve social problems, and control population, medical
abortion should be legally allowed.
First of all, an increase in deaths
from abortion is reported. According to The World Health Organization (Lisa B Haddad),
that abortion causes 68,000 maternal deaths each year in countries where abortion is illegal. If we keep abortion under government
control, it will safe women’s lives from injury and death caused by unsafe
abortion.
In addition, medical abortion can
also have positive effects on women’s quality of life. Because many women with
unwanted pregnancies do not have enough money feed up their children, giving
birth will worsen their way of life. According to a (Sep. 2005) survey asking
women why they had abortion in journal, Perspective on Sexual and Reproductive
Health reported that 73% of respondents could not afford to have baby, and
38% said that giving birth would interfere their education and career goals. Giving
birth of women with unplanned pregnancies can cause many social problems. For
instance, malnutrition, poverty, lack of medical and education service, and
conflicts over children’s quality of life are all consequences of unwanted
pregnancies.
Another reason to support medical
abortion that it is an effective way for population control. Nowadays, many
countries are already overwhelmed with population by abortion. For example, in
China where abortion is legal and a
government service available on request for women. Abortion is a good way to
control its population accompanied by its one child policy. When medical
abortion is legal, the number of population can be controlled properly.
In conclusion, medical abortion
should be legal. Mother death from having abortions will decrease. It is a way to protects social problems and control population
growth. If abortion is to remain
legal, it should be controlled and be means to enhance the life of mothers and
be beneficial to society surely.

“Leaving home and moving into student dorms is a big
deal for most of us!” University students live in different places, while many
students are able to continue living at home, some of them choose to live in
apartments. Most first year students end up in university dormitories. Living
in university dormitories has not only many advantages but also some disadvantages.
One of the main advantages of living in university dormitories
is convenience. Most students do not have cars. So, they can walk or take
university transportation to everywhere in university. If they have to do
activities with their friends in the university, they can do those activities easily
because there is a common area at the dorm. In addition, students living in the
university dorms will learn how to communicate with other peers, such as their
new roommates. At the dorms, they have classmates to discuss and help on
achieving academic success. If they have a test, they can find someone at their
dorms to help them to review lessons. When they see others studying, they may
remind their self to get a good grades.
On the other hand, living in university dormitories
can be difficult because the students dwelling in the university dorms have to
follow many strict rules. At the dorms, dwellers are not free to have someone
visit them at any time. Because dorm rooms are small, they do not have freedom
to do something they want like jumping rope, doing aerobics, and lying down on
the floor. In addition, there are a lot of noise and distractions. A lot of
students usually complain about something their roommates do such as bringing
friends at inappropriate time, playing music loudly etc. Lastly, the worst
thing for living in the university dorms is theft. If something has lost, it is
not easy to find thieves because many people living in the same dorm.
In conclusion, dwelling in the university
dormitories are an important to adjust. Living
in the university dormitories has many benefits such as convenience to go anywhere in university, relationship to better
communicate, Nevertheless, freedom, condition, and safety are sad majors in living
at dorms. There are many arguments both for and against living in the university
dorm. Everyone is different, it should be decided by ourselves.

Reading
is an extremely important skill. It is by reading that you learn much of what
you need to know for your different school subjects. Reading is also an excellent way to
improve your general English. You can only learn from reading, however, if what
you read is not too difficult. For this reason, it is important to know what
makes texts difficult and how you can improve your chances of understanding
them.
First of all, know your reading purpose the way you read a book or a text
depends very much on your reasons for reading it. This is why it is so
important to know your reading purpose. Secondly, choose the appropriate reading speed students often take a long
time to do their work because they read everything slowly and carefully.
Thirdly, get background information by finding something out about the
topic you have to read. The more background information you have, the easier it
will be to understand the text. You can get this background information
background in your own language. Lastly, increase your vocabulary
of course, reading itself is an excellent way to improve your vocabulary, but
there are many other things you can do.
So if
you want your want to be successful at school encourage to read. Reading
non-fiction in English is probably the most important, if done extensively will help you develop the reading competence
that is essential for academic achievement.

CEFR ย่อมาจาก Common European Framework of
Reference for Languages
เป็นการกำหนดมาตรฐานความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษ
ของประชากรของประเทศในกลุ่มสหภาพยุโรป เพื่อให้โรงเรียนทุกๆ โรงเรียน
ในแต่ละประเทศที่เป็นชาติสมาชิกในสหภาพยุโรป ได้ออกแบบหลักสูตร
และอำนวยการเรียนการสอนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ โดยกรอบมาตรฐาน CEFR ได้แบ่งความสามารถทางภาษาอังกฤษเป็น 6 ระดับ
ดังต่อไปนี้
Proficient
ได้แก่ C1 สามารถเข้าใจภาษาอังกฤษผ่านการฟัง
และการอ่านได้อย่างคล่องแคล่ว ครบถ้วน สามารถสรุปใจความ จากการรับฟัง
และการอ่านจากแหล่งข้อมูลหลายๆ แหล่งได้ สามารถนำเสนอความคิดเห็น ข้อโต้แย้ง
เหตุผลประกอบต่างๆ ได้อย่างคล่องแคล่ว
สามารถแนะนำพูดคุยภาษาอังกฤษในสถานการณ์ต่างๆ ได้อย่างถูกต้อง
คล่องแคล่วเป็นธรรมชาติ C2 สามารถเข้าใจความหมายที่แท้จริง
ในประโยคภาษาอังกฤษที่มีความซับซ้อนได้ สามารถพูดคุยภาษาอังกฤษได้เป็นธรรมชาติ

สามารถอธิบายเหตุผล และความคิดเห็นของตนเองสั้นๆ ได้
Basic เป็นระดับสุดท้าย A2 สามารถเข้าใจประโยคภาษาอังกฤษที่มักจะพบเจอบ่อยๆ
ในเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องส่วนตัว ครอบครัว ฯลฯ ได้
สามารถสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกิจวัตรประจำวันได้
สามารถอธิบายความต้องการของตนเองโดยใช้ประโยคพื้นฐานได้ และ A1 สามารถเข้าใจประโยคภาษาอังกฤษที่ต้องใช้ในชีวิตประจำวันได้
โดยเฉพาะในส่วนของที่เป็นข้อเท็จจริง สามารถแนะนำตนเอง และผู้อื่นได้
สามารถถามตอบคำถามเกี่ยวกับข้อมูลส่วนตัวเกี่ยวกับที่อยู่อาศัย คนที่รู้จัก
สิ่งของที่ตนเองมีได้ สามารถโต้ตอบด้วยภาษาอังกฤษได้
ในกรณีที่คู่สนทนาพยายามช่วยพูดอย่างช้าๆ ชัดๆ
จะเห็นได้ว่า
CEFR มีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างมากต่อการศึกษาของไทย มีเป้าหมายให้ผู้เข้าอบรมเข้าใจความรู้เบื้องต้นของกรอบมาตรฐานสากลแบบ
CEFR ให้สามารถนำไปปรับใช้จริงในห้องเรียน
ครูผู้เข้าอบรมจะได้เรียนรู้ระดับต่างๆของความสามารถในการใช้ภาษา
เพื่อนำไปการวิเคราะห์และประเมินระดับภาษาของนักเรียน
หลักสูตรจะช่วยการวางแผนการสอนในห้องเรียน
ออกแบบกิจกรรมที่จะพัฒนาให้นักเรียนมีระดับภาษาอังกฤษตามกรอบมาตรฐาน CEFR
รวมทั้งกิจกรรมที่จะส่งเสริมให้นักเรียนพัฒนาระดับภาษาอังกฤษไปยังขั้นที่สูงขึ้น
